Intent
The IB Digital Society curriculum aims to equip students with the skills and understanding necessary to navigate the complexities of the digital world responsibly and ethically. By fostering critical thinking, creativity, and ethical awareness, we intend to:
- Develop students’ digital literacy and technical skills to effectively use and understand digital tools and platforms.
- Encourage responsible and ethical behaviour in online environments, promoting digital citizenship.
- Cultivate an understanding of the societal impact of digital technologies, including issues of privacy, security, and the digital divide.
- Inspire innovation and problem-solving by leveraging digital tools to address real-world challenges.
Implementation
To achieve these objectives, we will implement the curriculum through the following strategies:
