What is the Grammar Stream?
The Grammar Stream at Knole Academy is an enhanced educational pathway for students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability. It provides an accelerated curriculum and a greater depth of study across all subjects, aiming to nurture intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence. The program is carefully tailored to meet the needs of students who thrive in a more demanding academic setting.
Our grammar stream allows us to provide accelerated learning and greater challenge for students who show aptitude in the Kent Test or achieve a high score in the Knole Academy Test. Students in the grammar stream are expected to achieve grades 7-9 in their GCSEs and aspire to attend Knole Academy Sixth Form and then University.
Our curriculum is designed to accommodate all students of all abilities, so we have different pathways for different students. The grammar stream has a highly academically tailored curriculum that also includes vocational and creative subjects, with the understanding that grammar stream students achieve highly in all subjects.
Knowledge, aspiration, and commitment are key attributes for a student to achieve, but they are expected in abundance by those students in the grammar stream.
All grammar stream routes depend on Kent County Council offering Knole as your chosen secondary school.
