Knole Academy Joins Aletheia Academies Trust
We have become the latest member of the Multi-Academy Trust, Aletheia Academies Trust.
Knole Academy is proud to announce that it has officially welcomed into Aletheia Academies Trust on 1 September 2024 – marking a significant milestone in its history. This partnership brings together our commitment to providing outstanding education and Aletheia Academies Trust’s dedication to fostering academic excellence across its schools.
Thirteen North Kent and Medway schools now complete the Trust, with Knole expanding the secondary provisions before the new Ebbsfleet City development, Alkerden Academy, opens in September 2025. This partnership reaffirms our dedication to continuous improvement and its mission to provide all students with an inclusive, nurturing, and high-achieving environment. The school will maintain its unique identity while leveraging the advantages of being part of a larger, dynamic organisation.
By joining Aletheia Academies Trust, our school will benefit from enhanced resources, collaboration opportunities, and shared expertise that will further enrich the educational experience for the students. The Trust’s proven track record of driving school improvement and its strong focus on community engagement aligns perfectly with our ethos and values.
Headteacher, Mr David Collins, was enthusiastic about this new chapter: “We are excited to join Aletheia Academies Trust. We recognise the benefits of collaborative work and believe that by joining Aletheia, we shall offer enhanced educational opportunities for pupils and staff. In addition, we wish to be instrumental to the future development of Aletheia and provision across the Trust”.
CEO of Aletheia Academies Trust, Mr Stephen Carey, added, “Knole Academy’s commitment to academic excellence and its inclusive school community make it a perfect fit for our Trust. We are thrilled to welcome them and are eager to support the school’s journey towards even greater success.”
The integration with Aletheia Academies Trust is set to bring numerous benefits, including access to a broader curriculum, professional development opportunities for staff, and an expanded network of support for students. Parents, staff, and students can expect a seamless transition as our school aligns with the Trust’s vision and goals.
